What is Preventive Maintenance?
What is Preventive Maintenance? Preventive Maintenance (PM) is the act of preventing break-downs of mechanical equipment. It can range from improving on service intervals and using premium lubricants and replacement parts to upgrading subsystems including fuel injection systems. PM is what the FUPRO fuel filter system is all about. It cleans the fuel to 2 microns and removes 99% of the water. This improvement over your current factory filter system will extend the life of your injection system by double or more than is factory expected. Cummins Engine Company says it will phenomenally increase the life of their injection systems. The same is true for all manufacturers, though we haven't talked with them. Their filters are no better than the ones on the Cummins Engines.
All owners and sellers of diesel engines should seriously consider the addition of FUPRO systems to all of their Diesel powered equipment, both on and off road. This system will actually more than pay for itself over the life of your diesel equipment.
Back To School
We have developed filter kits for school buses. We have be told that one of the school bus chassis builders has told their customers to not run their fuel filters over 5000 miles. We know that School Districts need to keep our children safe while transporting them to and from School and do it as economically as possible. That's where FUPRO comes in. We offer a Fuel Filter Kit for School Busses with dual warning system to ensure that busses don't break down during their runs. These kits have a mechanical warning system at the filter and a light in he dash to warn the driver. We have seen these filters run as many as 60,000 miles on highway 18 wheel trucks hauling rock. We don't expect any School District to run our filters 60,000 miles, but we believe that it is very probable that they will run at least 30,000 miles. Our School Bus Kits sell in the $300.00 range. By the time our filters need serviced the first time, the system will have nearly paid for itself. From then on it is saving you money. These mileages are only if you are getting good fuel. If you get bad fuel, the mileage will be less, but still farther than you factory replacement filters and they don't give you any warning. In addition to that, with our filter system, you will not be plagued with injector and pump failures. PART NUMBER SB1. In our never-ending search for a more economical solution for dirt and water we have found that there are vehicles which can be upgraded by simply replacing the standard Racor filter with the 2 micron one which we supply. Your New Vehicle Warranty
Ever since the inception of the FUPRO system we have had potential Customers tell us that their truck dealer had told them that if any aftermarket accessory was added to their truck, it would void their warranty. This was true before 1975. In 1975 the Magnuson-Moss Act was passed into Federal Law. This Law states that a vehicle warranty cannot be voided due to the addition of an aftermarket accessory. If you have any questions concerning this statement, we suggest that you review the Magnuson-Moss Vehicle Warranty Act of 1975 or feel free to call us at 214-797-8966 and we'll explain it and, if needed, send you a copy of it.
As a matter of fact, almost all of the new vehicle Dealers we have had dealings with, have refused to pay warranty claims of injector failure. They all blame dirty fuel for the problem. The FUPRO system eliminates the dirty fuel problem.
Ford Chassis Cab Trucks 2000 to 2010
THIS SCARES ME!!
Most of the Fire Brush trucks and Ambulances in our country are in the range of F350-F750 Ford Trucks. Without the FUPRO system these vehicles are being dispatched and aren't making it to their destinations if the fuel tank has started flaking since their last fuel filter service.
Ford Motor Co. used a lined steel fuel tank in their F350-F750 chassis-cab trucks from the 1990s through 2010. This worked well until Ultra-low-Sulpher diesel fuel happened. Ultra-Low-Sulpher attacks the lining and causes it to flake. These flakes [some are small and some are large] can make their way through the frame module filter and all the way to the high pressure pump and injectors. If it will go through our filter, it will go through yout fuel system without damaging it. When this happens, the cost often is around $12,000.00. This is a verifyable fact. The owners of these trucks who know about FUPRO have learned that the FUPRO system can totally prevent this unfortunate experience.
The FUPRO filter system stops tank flakes at our filter, as well as dirt and rust over 2 microns and over 99% of the water and prevents the damage that all of these contaminants can cause to your diesel engine.
